SUMMARY OF FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

This person plays an expert technical role in their area of specialization. They coordinate the administration and operation activities of their sector, in compliance with best practices, standards, directives, and established policies. They are responsible for the development, maintenance, and/or improvement of computer applications or equipment to ensure the proper functioning and use of software and equipment in the company's IT environment. They advise and provide recommendations for solutions that allow the evolution and maintenance of applications or systems in their sector. They design, implement, maintain, and update applications or systems related to the activities of their sector, in compliance with current best practices.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF POST TASKS (indicative):

You will participate in the development and evolution of an institutional identity and access management platform. This is not just an administrative role: you will contribute to designing, developing, automating, and maintaining critical integrations between several systems used by the University.

Your work will allow you to automate the creation, modification, and deactivation of accounts, to improve data exchanges between systems, and to support the evolution of authentication, identity federation, and access security mechanisms.

Concretely, you will be called upon to:

• develop and evolve integrations between the GIA platform, institutional systems, SaaS applications, and certain legacy systems;
• design, develop, and maintain connectors using REST APIs, JSON or XML exchanges, and modern authentication mechanisms;
• automate the processes of creating, modifying, synchronizing, and deactivating accounts and access;
• participate in the design of robust, secure, scalable, and operational integration solutions;
• contribute to the evolution of authentication and identity federation mechanisms, including SSO, MFA, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or SAML;
• participate in the deployment, diagnosis, and continuous improvement of application components in a DevOps and cloud environment;
• collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, operations, and project teams.
