The Data Warehouse Services team plays a critical role within our organization. They are responsible for storing vast amounts of data from multiple sources and distributing this data to various groups across the organization. As a cornerstone of our data ecosystem, the team is looking for a Data Analysis Team Lead to join them.
What you will do
- Lead a team of analysts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including directors, analysts, and developers, to understand business requirements and objectives and contribute to the definition of strategy, content, and features for our reporting environments.
- Analyze data and structure from data marts.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions regarding functional requirements, content organization, process flows, and report specifications.
- Develop queries for data problem analysis or the creation of new report structures for various business units.
- Collaborate with database administrators and developers to establish high-level time and effort estimates at the start of reporting projects and refine these estimates with each iteration.
- Work with project managers to track project status and identify potential risks and issues.
- Become an expert in the business domain.
- Assist in coordinating development roadmaps.
Essential skills
- 4+ years of experience in a similar technical analytical role.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of tools for creating, extracting, and analyzing data from SQL Server, Excel, Power BI, Fabric, and data cubes.
- Strong technical skills in T-SQL, SQL, MySQL, and Azure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer support experience.
- Understanding of data flow concepts.
- Understanding of business models.
