The incumbent of this position intervenes at various levels to maintain and improve quality standards on the production lines of electro-mechanical equipment and accessories. This is done through the control, analysis, and verification of the conformity of manufacturing processes and products to established quality standards, as well as the drafting of non-conformities and the implementation of corrective measures.

  • As a Quality Technician, You Will

Support Production Lines

  • Support operators when quality blockages are identified.
  • Perform regular checks on production lines to verify the conformity of products to technical specifications and established quality standards.

Non-Conformity Management

  • Identify non-conforming products or materials, including assembly errors and deviations from quality standards.
  • Prepare accurate non-conformity reports (NCRs) detailing the observed deviations, including photos if necessary, and using appropriate tracking tools.
  • Will be called upon to inspect finished, semi-finished, or in-process products, as well as raw materials, to ensure they meet specifications.

Continuous Improvement Participation

  • Collaborate with in-house teams to determine the root causes of non-conformities and propose solutions to resolve and prevent them.
  • Participate in the implementation of corrective measures to address identified non-conformities, following established procedures and ensuring the validation of the effectiveness of corrective actions.

Training and Awareness

  • Provide support to the production team on quality standards and best practices to minimize non-conformities.

What makes you an asset to our team

  • College diploma (D.E.C.) or technical diploma in electronics, industrial engineering, or related field.
  • Five years of relevant experience and more
  • Previous experience in a quality control or production technician role, preferably in the electronic manufacturing industry.
  • Practical knowledge of quality tools such as Pareto diagrams, 5 Whys, and corrective action plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and associated quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and perform visual and functional inspections.
  • Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly and precisely document non-conformities.
  • Intermediate English, both oral and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Meticulousness, teamwork skills, ability to communicate methods and concepts, autonomy, versatility, and flexibility.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
