Corporate Accounting plays a crucial role in producing reliable, relevant, and regulatory-compliant financial information. The senior analyst actively participates in the preparation and analysis of Banque Laurentienne's and its subsidiaries' financial information.
The incumbent contributes to the preparation of consolidated financial statements and quarterly and annual financial disclosures. They also participate in external audit work and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and quality of financial processes.

Accounting and Financial Controls
- Prepare, analyze, and review certain accounting entries.
- Participate in the accounting and analysis of loan losses and related provisions (IFRS 9).
- Ensure the accounting of certain other activities related to financial instruments.
- Prepare or review the financial statements of subsidiaries.
External Financial Information
- Participate in the preparation of Banque Laurentienne's quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Prepare and review the notes to the financial statements and other financial disclosures.
- Perform the analyses and reconciliations necessary to support the published information.
Audit and Compliance
- Collaborate with external auditors on quarterly and annual audits.
- Prepare the documentation and analyses required to support the audit processes.
- Participate in maintaining a rigorous financial control environment.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the optimization and documentation of financial information production processes.
- Participate in the implementation of new accounting or regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate on various financial projects impacting financial disclosure processes.
Support and Expertise
- Serve as a resource person for internal partners on accounting matters.
- Contribute to the sharing of knowledge and best practices within the team.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA professional designation.
- 5 years of relevant experience in external audit, financial accounting, or financial information.
- Experience in the financial services or banking sector is an asset.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of financial instruments and banking activities is an asset.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
- Professional proficiency in French and English is required as the position requires frequent written and oral communications in both languages on complex matters with internal and external parties.
