Senior Advisor – Data Governance and Artificial Intelligence

We are looking for a senior advisor in data governance and artificial intelligence to support the implementation and evolution of practices for managing, leveraging, and responsibly using data and artificial intelligence technologies.

In this strategic role, you will contribute to defining frameworks, strategies, and governance mechanisms to ensure effective, ethical, and secure use of data and artificial intelligence. You will guide managers and teams in adopting best practices in data governance and support the transformation towards a data-driven organization.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategic directions, technological initiatives, and business needs.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of frameworks, policies, and best practices in data governance and artificial intelligence;
• Define and implement mechanisms for data management, mobility, quality, and value creation across the organization;
• Act as a strategic advisor to management in data governance and responsible use of artificial intelligence;
• Support organizational units in adopting and improving their data management practices and use of AI;
• Contribute to the development of strategies, roadmaps, and evolution plans for data governance and artificial intelligence;
• Identify opportunities to increase data value and strategic use of artificial intelligence within the organization;
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the information architecture vision in alignment with organizational directions;
• Participate in organizational initiatives and projects by producing the required strategic analyses, recommendations, and deliverables;
• Ensure strategic, technological, and regulatory vigilance related to data governance and artificial intelligence practices;
• Raise awareness and guide stakeholders on issues related to data governance, ethics, and responsible use of artificial intelligence.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology;
• Experience in business intelligence projects;
• Experience as a data governance and artificial intelligence governance advisor;
• Experience in developing roadmaps for implementing AI solutions using Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML).

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, as well as professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on individual circumstances. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $70,000 and $135,000. This position is open.
