Our client, located on Île d'Orléans, is looking for a Public Works Assistant to contribute to the maintenance and proper functioning of municipal infrastructure. This position will allow you to participate in a wide variety of projects while working in a stimulating and friendly environment.
The tasks include
- Performing maintenance and minor repairs on buildings, equipment, and vehicles.
- Carrying out various works related to municipal infrastructure, including water supply, roads, and wastewater networks.
- Participating in snow removal operations and maintaining public spaces.
- Performing landscape maintenance work and ensuring the cleanliness of municipal facilities.
- Participating in the installation, maintenance, and supervision of seasonal equipment.
- Regularly inspecting municipal facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Using work tools and equipment safely.
- Performing all other tasks related to daily operations.

Requirements
- Hold a high school diploma (DES) or equivalent training.
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Have relevant experience in a field related to manual work, maintenance, or public works.
- Hold certifications in water treatment or health and safety (an asset).
- Be able to use various work tools and equipment safely.

- Salary:
Between $26 and $28 per hour, depending on experience.
