Our client, a SaaS company with around 30 employees, is looking for an accounting technician to manage its financial operations.

About the Role

As an accounting technician, you will play a central role in the company's financial management. In collaboration with the management, you will contribute to ensuring the rigor of accounting operations while actively participating in process improvement and strategic planning.

In this role, you will be responsible for

• Mastering the entire accounting cycle
• Performing entries related to vendor and customer accounts
• Closing monthly and annual periods by performing the corresponding entries
• Preparing financial statements and ensuring the quality of financial information using performance indicators
• Participating in budget planning and financial tracking with management, and formulating recommendations
• Managing payroll and social benefits
• Contributing to the optimization of existing accounting processes
• Participating in various special projects related to company management

Desired Profile

• Diligence, versatility, and excellent communication skills
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks – an asset)
• Technician: 5+ years of relevant experience
• Junior profile (BAC): 1-2 years of experience
• Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with the management team

• Base salary
• Full-time position (37.5 hours/week)
