Role Mission

As an Accounts Payable Accountant, your mission will be to ensure the complete cycle of the company's payables to allow the finance department to deliver flawless month-end closings, on time and without compromise.

You will be an essential link in the team: in the short term, your role will focus on the entry and rigorous tracking of invoices. In the medium term, you will become a key person in the implementation of our future AI system, which will automate invoice entry. Your involvement and ability to actively participate in this project will make all the difference in the success of this digital transformation.

Main Responsibilities

• Process administrative and project invoices, as well as credit card reconciliations, before the 10th day of the following month.
• Ensure validations, follow-ups, and documentation necessary for the compliance of subcontractors.
• Manage the administrative email inbox daily, with quick and precise responses and follow-ups.
• Perform the necessary analyses on accounts payable related to projects and expenses.
• Actively contribute to the department's digital transformation by participating in the implementation of AI for automated invoice entry.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office 365 environments.
• College diploma or any other relevant diploma (an asset).
• Having participated in a company project - implementation of an accounting system (an asset).
• Relevant experience in accounting, ideally in accounts payable.
• Bilingual: Advanced French and conversational English.
• Comfortable in a dynamic and growing SME context.
• Customer service experience.
