We are currently looking for qualified individuals to fill fifteen tourism mobility dispatcher positions at the Parking Management Division of the Transportation and Intelligent Mobility Service.

THE CHALLENGES

As a Tourism Mobility Dispatcher

• You contribute to the distribution of tourist buses as well as the control of arrivals and departures of buses and also the control of access to pedestrian zones.
• You ensure that municipal parking regulations are respected and give instructions to drivers who do not comply with the regulations. If necessary, you issue violation notices and work in collaboration with the Quebec City Police Service.
• You control the arrivals and departures of tourist buses in a given area, mainly in Old Quebec, and coordinate the movements and parking periods of these vehicles.
• You compile various information related to the movements of tourist buses and respond to various information requests from bus drivers, guides, escorts, and citizens of the city.

To Join Our Team, You Will Need To

• Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent);
• Be able to offer up to 40 hours per week from mid-March to mid-November OR from mid-May to mid-September (start and end dates may vary according to operational needs);
• Have a good command of English;
• Demonstrate good judgment, sense of responsibility, autonomy, ease of communication, sense of observation, and customer service awareness;
• Be able to work outside, in noise and traffic, and have a smartphone.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Beyond the opportunity to join the City for a first experience, we offer:
• An hourly rate of $22.63;
• A 5-day workweek, including weekends (work is done outside);
• A possible 40-hour workweek and a work schedule between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, depending on the need.
