Description
MineOps is seeking a Project and Contract Controller to serve as a point of control for compliance, performance tracking, and contract administration of projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review submissions prior to submission to ensure compliance with technical, administrative, and contractual requirements of RFPs;
- Ensure rigorous tracking of project performance (schedule, scope, contractual compliance), without assuming operational planning;
- Produce performance dashboards and tracking reports for management;
- Collaborate with project managers and operational teams to ensure continuous project compliance;
- Manage administrative contract management: tracking of clauses, deadlines, warranties, and contractual obligations;
- Support teams in interpreting contractual clauses, resolving contract-related issues, and meeting deadlines;
- Participate in improving project and contract management processes, including tools, templates, and tracking practices;
- Act as a cross-functional resource, interfacing between management, submission teams, operations, and finance.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (contract administration, project control, submission compliance, high-level executive support, or any other related experience);
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables);
- Bilingual (written and spoken – regular interactions with English-speaking clients and partners);
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex submissions, contracts, and contractual documents;
- Good priority management and ability to perform under pressure, particularly during submission periods;
- Team spirit and collaboration;
- Sharp analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence;
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week;
- Location: Rouyn-Noranda;
- Flexible and hybrid schedule (remote work possible);
- Competitive salary, based on experience;
