Your Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct an assessment of the user's psychosocial needs and their environment
• In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, develop an intervention plan and guide the user towards the right resources
• Inform, sensitize, and encourage the user and their family to participate in the intervention plan
• Facilitate groups, if necessary
• Perform the roles and responsibilities outlined in the job description for the position you will hold

The Youth Protection Department and the Youth Program are represented by two programs offering services to youth and their families.

Youth Protection has the role of protecting children, strategically positioning the distribution of social services to the child and their family, in compliance with the various legislative provisions. It also aims to promote the rehabilitation and reintegration of juvenile offenders. Through its mission, it also has a youth shelter facility including rehabilitation services for young people in difficulty.

The Youth Program focuses on the health and proper development of children. It accompanies and supports families during periods requiring an adaptation of their parental reality. Through its mission, the Youth Program also has under its responsibility the perinatal and school health services as well as the psychosocial services including youth mental health, pediatrics, pediatric psychiatry, ... the midwifery service as well as the birth house.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:
• Social Services – Criminology
• Psychoeducation
• Psychology

A Master's degree in Psychoeducation and membership in the Order are considered assets.

The requirement to have a valid vehicle and driver's license is required for certain positions.
