As part of the Financial Performance and Accounting team, the successful candidate will manage budgetary processes and key analyses, both quantitative and qualitative, and ensure their monthly and quarterly reporting. They will also contribute to the end-of-month process, including accounting entries and variance analyses.

What You Will Do

  • Develop annual budgets and ensure monthly and quarterly budget tracking for relevant sectors;
  • Analyze budgetary variances, produce financial reporting, and formulate recommendations to support decision-making;
  • Provide financial analyses, forecasts, and management reports to financial partners;
  • Analyze operational expense-related financial results, investigate variances, and validate the accuracy of postings;
  • Conduct periodic financial statement analyses for certain balance sheet accounts, including reconciliations and adjustment entries;
  • Prepare and document accounting entries to ensure compliance, traceability, and reliability of financial information;
  • Perform targeted ledger reviews and recommend required corrections to ensure data quality;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, controls, data quality, and the implementation of analytical tools.

What You Bring

  • One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience;
  • Demonstrated experience in financial accounting and/or monthly closing, including account analyses, reconciliations, and adjustment entries;
  • Experience in financial planning and a good understanding of the financial information chain, including controls, traceability, and data governance;
  • Ability to collaborate with business partners to understand transactional flows, identify root causes of variances, and improve data quality at the source;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office suite.

Desired Skills (Assets)

  • Knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tagetik) and accounting software (Microsoft D365);
  • Experience in project management and transformation;
  • CPA professional designation.
