Technical Accounting Clerk

Fixed-term contract of 15 months – flexible start between October 2026 and January 2028

About the position

Our accounting clerk is the person who turns numbers into levers for success. By ensuring rigorous tracking of our finances and liquidity, they directly contribute to the realization of our projects. Possessing a keen eye for detail and excellent Excel skills, particularly with pivot tables, this person plays a key role within our team.

Process payroll (Employer D payroll system)

• Keep employee payroll files up to date in the computer system (record new employees, annual leave, holidays, employment termination, CNESST, RVER, Tedy, etc.).
• Complete the full accounting cycle:

Manage customer accounts

• Produce customer invoices, including necessary verifications for production, taking into account existing programs and agreements;
• Answer user and referent inquiries regarding their invoicing;
• Administration of social shares;
• Prepare, record, and process deposits.

Manage vendor accounts

• Forecast expenses and track accounts payable;
• Produce and analyze periodic financial statements;
• Periodically inform the management of the state of accounts.

Accounting management

• Produce and analyze Excel reports;
• Perform bank reconciliations;
• Perform an end-of-period accounting closure.

Other tasks

• Provide support to other team members during peak or vacation periods;
• Participate in ADDA's associative life;
• Perform any other tasks necessary for the smooth functioning of ADDA.

General Competencies

• College studies certificate (AEC) in accounting. Any other combination of education and experience must be evaluated;
• At least two (2) to three (3) years of experience in completing the full accounting cycle;
• Good knowledge of the Acomba software;
• Knowledge of practices and techniques (accounting standards, etc.) in place in accounting and financial management;
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex functions.
• 30-hour workweek (Monday to Thursday);
