The Gisèle Faubert Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to operate a palliative care home that will serve residents of the West Montérégie territory.
The palliative care home is currently under construction in a beautiful agricultural environment, right in the heart of Mercier. The Foundation is looking to complete its team with people who share its values of respect and dignity, compassion, commitment, and solidarity, ready to take on the challenge of launching this noble human project.
As an administrative technician, you will play a key role in providing administrative support to the Executive Director and the Foundation. The successful candidate must have a professional approach, be organized, and demonstrate a desire to grow within a rapidly expanding, active, and dynamic organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet, inform, and direct users, visitors, etc.
- Prepare, verify, and process invoices, purchase orders, checks or electronic payments, statements, reports, etc.
- Perform routine accounting, financial, and budgetary tasks, including monthly reconciliations;
- Maintain records, databases, inventories, and various files;
- Manage information resources;
- Track records for members, suppliers, and donors;
- Draft, enter, file, and archive administrative documents;
- Conduct research, analyses, or summaries on various topics and prepare reports;
- Work closely with the organization’s philanthropic development team
Desired Profile
- We are looking for a committed, organized, and motivated individual who is eager to contribute to a deeply humanitarian mission.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role (office clerk, accounting clerk, etc.);
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Discretion, professionalism, and a strong sense of confidentiality;
- Independence, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Proficiency with common computer tools and a willingness to learn new ones;
- Bilingualism (a significant asset).
