Your role as a train driver at Transdev!

As a train driver, you will play a key role in the secure and efficient operation of suburban trains. You will ensure the observance of procedures, coordinate railway operations, and maintain the quality of service provided to users.

Main tasks

• Monitor the train and ensure compliance with operating procedures.
• Conduct necessary inspections before departure and during service.
• Coordinate maneuvers and communicate with team members via radio and operational signals.
• Assist passengers in boarding and alighting the train, if necessary.
• Apply safety guidelines and intervene in case of incidents or irregularities.
• Write operational reports and report any anomalies.
• Collaborate with controllers, mechanics, and other railway personnel.

Requirements

• Hold a train driver qualification.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Pass the required medical, visual, and auditory exams, as well as the employer's safety tests.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in an active environment.
• Required availability according to operational needs
• Experience in public transportation or railway, an asset.
