Key Responsibilities: Operational (70%)
These are the core, recurring tasks that keep the business running smoothly.
- Manage the month-end close process for Marketing & SG&A with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly variance analyses vs. budget, forecast, and prior year; provide detailed commentary and recommendations to facilitate financial projections.
- Maintain and improve Marketing & SG&A reporting tools and processes to enhance transparency and decision-making (e.g., reporting, forecasting, vendor invoicing).
- Upgrades, automates and improves reporting and analytical tools.
- Support brand performance reviews by providing detailed financial analysis, including category and unit-level insights.
- Support partner relationships (e.g., co-branding, royalties) through robust reporting, forecasting, issue resolution, and financial process management.
- Provide strategic support to the Commercial Finance (Trade) team by leading the development of monthly customer presentations, with a focus on performance analysis by product category.
- Strategic (20%)
This component focuses on long-term analysis and value-add projects.
- Lead financial discussions during planning cycles (Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts) for Marketing & SG&A, coordinating input from department heads and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations for key stakeholders and senior leaders by providing meaningful financial insights.
- Leadership (10%)
While not a people-management role, this person will lead projects and be a key partner to the business.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Ability to build strong relationships with finance and cross-functional teams, as well as senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Ability to lead projects, manage changing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: CAD $67,800.00 - $77,000.00 annually.
Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility.
