As a member of the Family Office Services team, the Financial Planning Analyst provides comprehensive financial planning solutions. The candidate acts as the primary financial planner within our centralized planning service and as a partner to Financial Planning Specialists. Both services require the continuous preparation and development of our "Compass" financial plans.

This is a role focused on retirement and wealth planning, which involves providing tax, succession, and retirement planning strategies using our exclusive range of personal financial planning tools.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare complete personal financial plans for high-net-worth clients.
  • Formulate recommendations and identify opportunities to optimize clients' financial situations.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and collaboration with partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with financial planning standards and practices.
  • Propose ideas and participate in development projects to enhance our services.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to other professionals within Family Office Services.
  • Key Success Factors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferably in finance or wealth management).
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the IQPF.
  • At least five years of experience in financial planning, preferably in wealth management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Canadian personal and corporate income tax planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Bilingualism required (English and French).

Assets

  • Knowledge of the Conquest financial planning application.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Innate curiosity; willingness to learn and deepen existing knowledge.
