Make your mark as an administrative assistant. This diverse team of professionals contributes directly to our firm's success by supporting our clients. As a trusted advisor, you will ensure the efficient and effective conduct of our activities. The administrative assistant plays a key role in the administration and tracking of insolvency cases, both commercial and personal. The person holding the position participates in the preparation, management, and coordination of all documents required within the framework of procedures governed by the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, assemble, and administer bankruptcy, consumer proposal, and commercial insolvency files.
- Produce and review legal forms, reports, notices, and other required documents.
- Ensure compliance of files according to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and prescribed deadlines.
- Perform the opening, updating, and tracking of files in computer systems.
- Coordinate the various administrative stages of files to ensure their progress until closure.
- Track schedules and pending documents with clients, creditors, and other parties.
- Enter, validate, and update data with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain complete, organized, and compliant documentation.
- Collaborate with trustees, advisors, and team members to ensure effective file processing.
- Respond to information requests regarding the administrative status of files and provide required follow-ups.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of administrative processes and work methods.
Skills and Experience
- Post-secondary education in administration or legal technical, an asset
- Administrative experience in a professional work environment, an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
