The Maintenance Supervisor for Packaging, reporting to the Director of Maintenance, will be responsible for the general maintenance of the inspection, packaging, and palletizing area of a 24/7 production plant.

• Supervise, mobilize, and support a team of mechanics and electricians; ensure their development, training, adherence to rules, and disciplinary follow-up
• Ensure the performance and reliability of equipment by executing the preventive and corrective maintenance schedule, in collaboration with the maintenance planner
• Escalate technical issues to accelerate their resolution and participate in the resolution of technical stoppages and recurring issues
• Ensure the achievement of the department's efficiency and financial objectives
• Provide technical expertise in maintenance, performance, and equipment improvement
• Ensure the implementation and compliance with GMF (Good Manufacturing Fundamentals) determined by O-I
• Contribute to daily operational meetings with representatives from different departments
• Participate in the identification and implementation of plant maintenance projects, mobilizing the team
• Ensure compliance with SST standards and personnel training (PPE, locking, working at height, confined spaces, environmental standards, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with quality rules (documentation, procedures, HACCP, etc.)
• Participate in the recruitment of team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum DEC in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent discipline
• 5 years of experience in supervising teams in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication, motivational leadership skills, and ability to engage teams
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance management information systems
• Experience in the packaging industry is a considerable asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools
