What You Will Do
Under the supervision of the Financial Controller, your role involves processing customer account transactions, contributing to the processing of vendor accounts, and contributing to the end-of-month process, all in an effective and efficient manner to ensure their accuracy and timely processing.
Customer Accounts
- Prepare and submit invoices and credit notes to customers;
- Perform receipts and apply them to customer accounts;
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner;
- Produce and send customer statements as needed;
- Maintain, update, and archive customer data in the system;
- Contribute to discount and allowance calculations.
Vendor Accounts
- Process received invoices and enter them into the system;
- Prepare payments;
- Review vendor account statements;
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
End-of-Month Work
- Contribute to various end-of-month tasks (analyses, reconciliations, etc.);
- Enter journal entries into the system;
- Any other tasks related to accounting.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform any other tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor or required for your duties.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of accounting software;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Skills and Attitudes
- Proactive, problem-solving oriented, and business objective-driven;
- Meticulous, autonomous, organized, and detail-oriented.
Language Skills
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written (communication with anglophone clients).
Education and Training
- DEC in administration or accounting.
Experience: Six (6) months to one (1) year of relevant experience.
Salary: $20.79 to $31.18 per hour
