Accounts Payable Clerk

What you will do

• Receive, sort, and verify vendor invoices;
• Enter data into the company's accounting system and tools with precision;
• Account for vendor invoices from different job sites with customer accounts;
• Reconcile monthly bank statements from different vendors;
• Issue payment lists and make payments by check;
• Transmit electronic payment reports to the chief accountant;
• Account for employee hours;
• Answer phone calls and emails and follow up on them;
• Miscellaneous filing;
• Provide support to the management and accounting staff for other related tasks.

Your profile

• Diploma in secretarial or accounting or relevant experience;
• Have 2 to 3 years of experience (desired);
• Mastery of French, both spoken and written;
• Knowledge of the *Avantage* accounting system (desired);
• Experience in the construction industry (desired);
• Proficiency in *Microsoft Office* suite;
• Be proactive, self-motivated, and meticulous;
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
