What you will accomplish with us

As a Cloud Technologist (FinOps Focus), you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

• Bring your technical expertise to optimize the choice, operation, performance, and costs of cloud services, recommending and designing solutions aligned with business needs, technological standards, and financial efficiency.
• Act as a technical leader within the delivery team, participate in deployment activities to ensure solution integrity, and contribute to the implementation of complex components using automated infrastructure pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with analysts and architects from the requirements gathering phase to define tailored solutions, considering constraints, system capabilities, and cloud best practices.
• Guide cloud consumers in understanding their consumption, analyze trends, identify optimization levers and opportunities, and formulate concrete recommendations to improve cloud environment performance and value.
• Contribute to the implementation and evolution of FinOps practices, promoting cost transparency, governance, budget forecasting, and continuous improvement, while developing automations and optimizations facilitating user adoption, efficiency, and satisfaction.

• We are looking for a person who:
• Is recognized for their ability to analyze cloud data and mastery of FinOps practices, particularly in cost visibility, allocation, and continuous optimization.
• Stands out for their ability to simplify complex issues and guide and influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrates strong expertise in cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS – Azure, AWS), infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Is recognized for their collaborative spirit, DevOps mindset, and mastery of Agile methodologies (SAFe®, SDLC), as well as an understanding of infrastructure concerns (networking, databases, security).
• Has more than 5 years of experience in information technologies, including a minimum of 2 years in cloud solution design, along with a DEC or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems management, information systems, computer engineering, software engineering, mathematics, or any other relevant field of the same level.
• Has a beginner level of English since the person will be required to read and write documentation and emails, as well as communicate by phone with partners and internal collaborators across Canada on a monthly basis.
• Advanced French proficiency, both spoken and written.
