Industrial Mechanic

Company Description MPP Packaging Inc. is a company operating in the field of plastic film manufacturing for multi-packaging. Extrusion blowing of multi-layer and single-layer flexible plastic films. The plant is located in Anjou city near the Metropolitan Boulevard.

We are currently seeking an Industrial Mechanic to ensure the smooth operation of production.

• Keep maintenance documentation up to date
• Maintain parts inventory and ensure stockage
• Troubleshoot production issues, including emergencies, shutdowns, and breakdowns
• Perform various welds
• Perform any other related tasks
• Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Available one week out of two for emergencies outside of regular working hours.

Desired Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual with strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining production machinery.

• Ability to demonstrate a good practical approach
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Experience in plastics manufacturing and/or electromechanics is an asset
• Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience or equivalent certification (DVS Industrial Construction and Maintenance Mechanics or electromechanics)
