Employment Types: Full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 10 hours per day.

Here, your mission as a welder will allow you to participate in the manufacture of steel structures designed to house industrial refrigeration units. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality, reliability, and performance of our equipment.

Your challenges

• Read and interpret plans to determine the sequences of operations to be performed.
• Weld steel structures using MIG, FCAW processes, and appropriate equipment.
• Perform the various types and positions of welding required for the manufacture of steel structures in accordance with the company's quality standards.
• Use a traveling bridge or crane to safely move and assemble steel pieces.
• Cut metals using various tools (angle grinder, oxy-fuel cutting, band saw, etc.).
• Install the various components according to the schematics and 3D models.
• Check the quality of the welds and assemblies performed.
• Participate in the development of new products.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the efficiency of operations.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Your background and talents

• Welding training or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of experience in welding (an asset).
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical specifications.
• Good mastery of French, both spoken and written.
• Autonomy, resourcefulness, and excellent time management.
• Precision, meticulousness, and concern for well-done work.
• Versatility and manual skill.
• Team spirit and sense of initiative.
