To oversee the overall management of finances, we are looking for a Financial Controller. Working closely with the executive team, you will act as a strategic pillar to oversee the financial structure, refine work methods, and drive sustainable growth. You will also proactively intervene in development projects, technological innovation projects, and acquisition files.

As Financial Controller of the organization, you will guide budgetary choices and ensure the long-term viability of our activities. You will bridge the gap between the long-term vision of the executives and the on-the-ground realities of accounting by translating financial indicators into real decision-making tools.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS WILL BE
- Act as a financial partner to the executive team by providing analyses, recommendations, and key information to support informed decision-making;
- Contribute to the company's growth and evolution by participating in strategic initiatives, improvement projects, and acquisition files;
- Evaluate existing financial processes and propose improvement paths to increase efficiency, reliability, and operational performance;
- Maintain a solid financial structure by overseeing accounting practices, internal controls, and financial procedures of the organization;
- Prepare and analyze financial information necessary for performance tracking, including financial reports, budgets, and forecasts;
- Coordinate activities related to the financial closing cycles to ensure the quality and accuracy of accounting data;
- Collaborate with external partners and specialized advisors to support certain projects and needs of the company;
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial, regulatory, and tax obligations.
THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE
- Master Canadian accounting standards and be able to ensure the reliability and compliance of financial information;
- Possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a role involving financial analysis, control, and decision-making;
- Hold a CPA designation and a university degree in accounting or a relevant discipline;
- Be fluent in French both orally and in writing; functional knowledge of English is an asset.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to work effectively with various stakeholders;
- Be comfortable in an evolving environment where autonomy, adaptability, and continuous improvement are valued;
- Demonstrate a strong analytical capacity, sound business judgment, and a structured approach to formulating relevant recommendations;
