  • Your role

You will be responsible for the management of the company's accounting and financial operations. More specifically, you will be called upon to:

  • Supervise the complete accounting cycle and actively participate in monthly and annual closings;
  • Produce financial statements and financial analyses for the management;
  • Monitor budgets, liquidity, and key performance indicators;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and government obligations;
  • Support managers in interpreting their financial results and present the financial data of the branches;
  • Collaborate with external auditors at the end of the fiscal year;
  • Supervise the finance department's activities and support team members in their development;
  • Collaborate with the different departments to ensure reliable financial information and support the company's operations.

Desired profile

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, administration, or a related field;
  • CPA designation (obtained or in the process of being obtained);
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a controller, assistant controller, or financial accounting role;
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite;
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or another ERP (an asset);
  • Experience in retail, multisite, and multilingual environments (an asset);
  • Analytical mind, meticulousness, autonomy, and sense of organization;
  • Proficiency in French, both oral and written;
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written (may need to discuss with interviewees from different offices and firms located outside Quebec).
