La Tuilerie, a Quebec-based company recognized for over 30 years and with 7 branches and a franchisee, is looking for a Financial Controller.

- Your role
You will be responsible for the management of the company's accounting and financial operations. More specifically, you will be called upon to:
- Supervise the complete accounting cycle and actively participate in monthly and annual closings;
- Produce financial statements and financial analyses for the management;
- Monitor budgets, liquidity, and key performance indicators;
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and government obligations;
- Support managers in interpreting their financial results and present the financial data of the branches;
- Collaborate with external auditors at the end of the fiscal year;
- Supervise the finance department's activities and support team members in their development;
- Collaborate with the different departments to ensure reliable financial information and support the company's operations.
Desired profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, administration, or a related field;
- CPA designation (obtained or in the process of being obtained);
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a controller, assistant controller, or financial accounting role;
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite;
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or another ERP (an asset);
- Experience in retail, multisite, and multilingual environments (an asset);
- Analytical mind, meticulousness, autonomy, and sense of organization;
- Proficiency in French, both oral and written;
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written (may need to discuss with interviewees from different offices and firms located outside Quebec).
