Key responsibilities in this technical expert role in lévis

  • Become a technical reference for production operations and manufacturing systems;
  • Actively participate in the resolution of complex problems (equipment, software, automation, robotics, materials);
  • Support production and repair teams on calibration procedures and processes;
  • Contribute to the implementation of new technologies and software;
  • Collaborate closely with various internal services during major changes or projects;
  • Develop and maintain in-depth expertise in device and equipment calibration;
  • Support and maintain applicable ISO requirements for the organization;
  • Propose and implement innovative ideas to improve existing technologies and processes;
  • Manage and drive various continuous improvement projects.
  • Some aspects that will facilitate your integration at FARO Creaform:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (5 years and more);
  • University education (Bachelor's degree) in physics, electronics, mechanics, or related field;
  • Computer and systems expertise (ERP, analysis tools, automation);
  • Experience with an ERP (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Power BI: valuable assets);
  • Strong mastery of Lean concepts: Kanban, line balancing, pull system, 5S, visual management;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with field teams and scientific teams;
  • Bilingual French/English for internal communication;
