Accountant

Responsibilities

• Handle certification, compilation, and special assignment missions;
• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients;
• Plan and carry out certification and compilation missions;
• Prepare and/or review income tax returns for companies and individuals;
• Write recommendation reports following certification, accounting practice observation, and internal control assignments.

Required Skills

• Possess experience in a firm or equivalent and relevant experience;

Required Skills

• Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting;
• Have the title of CPA or auditor (an asset);
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in accounting;
• Resourceful, self-motivated, and interested in building a career in a firm with a diverse client base;
• Capable of maintaining good relationships with clients during assignments and with firm staff and partners;
• Have good knowledge of computer tools and firm software, such as Taxprep, Avantage Pro, Office suite, and others.
