Under the direction of the Accounting Director, the person sought plays a key role in the organization's financial activities. They will be responsible for the accounting and tracking of investments, participation in the monthly closing process, and the analysis of financial results.
They will also contribute to activities related to internal controls and the preparation of reports for the headquarters. In collaboration with the team, they will provide support in the realization of daily and monthly tasks.

Key Activities
- Track and reconcile the assets of the entities under their responsibility;
- Ensure the proper accounting of assets and depreciation;
- Track investment projects;
- Participate in the end-of-month, quarterly, and annual process;
- Track maintenance expenses;
- Track and reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accounting;
- Participate in the analytical review and preparation of quarterly analyses;
- Track non-resident taxes;
- Prepare documentation for external and internal audits;
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process for annual and quarterly assets;
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting profile;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- CPA accounting title (an asset).
Skills Sought
- Bilingual French/English oral and written (essential: exchanges with colleagues, clients, and suppliers who are unilingual English speakers in other provinces or countries);
- Excellent learning capacity, analytical spirit, and ability to work in a team;
- Good communication skills;
- Demonstrate autonomy, attention to detail, rigor, sense of responsibility, and proactivity;
- Good sense of organization and ability to manage priorities;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel); knowledge of an ERP (an asset).
