We are currently looking for an Accounting Analyst who can read the story told by numbers, question it, and improve it.

About the Position

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will play an active role in the financial accounting of a fast-growing technology company with clients worldwide. Poka maintains a startup mindset, which means the work suits open-minded, autonomous, and resourceful individuals. What You Will Do

• Work with the Professional Services team to evaluate and account for the progress of mandates and ensure accurate billing
• Collaborate with the Sales team to properly handle annual license contracts (billing, revenue accounting, obtaining purchase orders)
• Closely monitor customer accounts and meet with account managers
• Actively participate in end-of-month and end-of-year processes (reconciliation of revenues and deferred revenues, various adjustments, etc.)
• Participate in the annual audit of financial statements
• Answer customer questions about billing and purchase orders
• Contribute to the optimization of internal processes and the accounting system
• Take part in various internal company projects

What You Bring

• A DEC or higher in accounting or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience in project management (an asset)
• Knowledge of Salesforce and FinancialForce (an asset)

You are an autonomous, inventive, and resourceful individual who works proactively and does not wait to be told what to do. You have a good analytical mind and demonstrate professionalism and rigor in your work. You enjoy working in a team and collaborating with the different teams of the company.
