Daily Responsibilities as a Health & Safety Coordinator

  • Conduct workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.
  • Coordinate health and safety programs, training sessions and toolbox talks.
  • Lead the Health & Safety Committee and follow up on recommendations.
  • Participate in workplace accident and incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, regulations and company policies.
  • Manage personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications for Health & Safety Coordinator

  • University degree in Human Resources or Health & Safety certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written). English is required to effectively support our customers in the United States.
