The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Rive-Sud, one of the most important business groupings in Quebec, is looking for a Manager – Finance and Accounting to actively contribute to the sound management and financial sustainability of the organization.
As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in the administration of the Chamber's financial operations. You will ensure the reliability of financial information, optimize accounting processes, and maintain rigorous and transparent management practices.
In close collaboration with the executive team, you will directly contribute to decision-making, financial planning, and the continuous improvement of internal processes. You will also act as a resource person for external auditors, the audit committee, and the organization's various financial partners.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance and Accounting
- Ensure complete management of the organization's accounting cycle.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, financial reports, and analyses to support decision-making for the executive team.
- Ensure the integrity, reliability, and compliance of financial information and the continuous improvement of accounting processes.
- Prepare and submit tax declarations, including GST/QST, withholdings, and any other applicable regulatory obligations.
- Manage vendor and customer accounts, including invoice verification, payments, follow-ups, and billing via Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Process payroll through the EmployeurD platform, manage the payroll register, expense allowances, collective insurance, and prepare end-of-year documents.
- Actively contribute to the preparation of the annual budget, budget tracking, and expense monitoring to ensure sound financial management.
- Develop and improve financial tracking, control, and reporting tools to support operations and management.
- Act as a resource person for external auditors, the audit committee, and financial partners in the context of the annual audit and various financial follow-ups.
- Participate in the improvement and documentation of the organization's administrative and financial practices, controls, and processes.
Support to Activities
- Ensure, as needed, a presence and support at the various activities organized by the Chamber.
PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education in accounting, finance, administration, or related field.
- Significant experience in accounting and complete management of the accounting cycle.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and collaborating with external auditors.
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and evolving SME/NGO environment.
- Good mastery of accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- Excellent mastery of Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, SharePoint, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Rigor, professionalism, and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong sense of organization, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent relational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Discretion and strong respect for confidentiality.
- Knowledge of the business, associative, or economic development environment (asset).

WORK CONDITIONS
- Status: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) or 4 days/week, permanent
- Location: DIX30 district, Brossard
- Compensation: According to experience
- Vacation:
- o Three (3) weeks of vacation after one year
- o Five (5) days of personal leave for a full-time status
- o Paid leave during the holiday period
- o Summer period: offices closed at noon on Fridays
- Schedule: Flexible
- Social benefits: Collective insurance after a three (3) month probationary period
- Allowance: $50 per month for the cell phone
- Start date: As soon as possible
