As a Road Accident Claims Expert with an AMF license, you will contribute to the handling and maintenance of business relationships with members and clients for any claim arising from an accident involving our clients in habitation. You will manage high-complexity habitation claims and medium-complexity accident and bodily injury claims. You will investigate the circumstances and proceed with the claims. More specifically, you will be tasked with:
- Investigating the circumstances of accidents and conducting on-site inspections
- Assessing damages, estimating repair costs, and market value
- Reviewing, producing, and analyzing the necessary reports and documents for settlement
- Processing claims according to standards, policies, and contractual limits
- Adhering to processing deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction and avoid penalties
- Negotiating with various stakeholders (insured parties, suppliers, experts, partners)
- Maintaining professional and transparent communication throughout the case

What you will bring
- College diploma (DEC technical) in an appropriate discipline
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in claims resolution, including two years in habitation
- Please note that other combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered
- Expertise in claims resolution for private individuals - Autorité des marchés financiers
- Advanced French language proficiency due to the nature of tasks, work tools, or interactions with partners or members and clients
- Availability for travel in the Gatineau area
- Valid driver's license
- Business travel expenses paid per kilometer
- Mandatory childcare availability, estimated at one to two weeks per year
