Cybersecurity Advisor

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities that will be yours:

• Ensure the compliance and performance of the technology architecture and implementations;
• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes;
• Produce independent analyses and formulate strategic recommendations;
• Advise and support stakeholders in risk management;
• Define, plan, and track the implementation of action plans;
• Participate in critical projects and cross-functional strategic mandates.

The desired profile is as follows

• Hold a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer engineering, or a relevant field;
• Possess a certification (obtained or in progress): CISA, CIA, or CISSP;
• Have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity;
• Have expertise in network security: firewalls, IPS, IDS, SIEM, NGFW;
• Demonstrate knowledge of application security and associated methodologies;
• Possess knowledge of telecommunications (routers, concentrators, Cisco, Checkpoint, etc.);
• Have mastery of IAM best practices (identity management, authentication, authorization);
• This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring functional English proficiency for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential to understand documentation and ensure professional communication with clients, vendors, and colleagues across Canada.
