Childcare Educator

Daycare Les Petits Aventuriers is a subsidized private daycare that accommodates 80 children aged 0 to 5 years. We are located in a brand new facility in the heart of Southwest Montreal, just a few minutes from the bus stops 36 and 37 and only 10 minutes' walk from the Monk metro station.

We are looking for a team of dynamic and passionate educators who wish to work in a warm, professional, and stimulating environment.

Educational Program

Our daycare applies the educational program « Accueillir la petite enfance », as required by the Quebec Ministry of Family. Our programming is based on the careful observation of each child's interests, strengths, and developmental needs to offer adapted and meaningful learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
• Hold a DEC in early childhood education; or
• Hold an AEC or RAC in early childhood education with at least three years of relevant experience; or
• Hold a university certificate in early childhood education with three years of complementary relevant experience.

Unqualified candidates may also be considered if the required ratio of qualified educators is met. Candidates without recognized training must have experience working with young children in environments such as daycares, day camps, school-based childcare services, schools, or similar settings.

• Full-time, 5 days a week (40 hours/week); or
• Full-time, 4 days a week (32 hours/week)
• Salary: Hourly rate based on qualifications and experience
