Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring correct entry and timely processing
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and providing change or receipts as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and kitchen safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and guest satisfaction
• Manage guest inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism to foster positive relationships
• Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Auphan POS or similar platforms is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Experience in serving, upselling, cash handling, and cashiering enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for transactions is essential
• Background in the food industry or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to create welcoming guest interactions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
