SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning) Analyst

Are you analytical, organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Mecaer America Inc. is looking for a SIOP Analyst to support the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process.

Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, you will analyze operational data, production capacity, inventory levels and performance indicators to identify constraints and support informed decision-making.

Your responsibilities

• Support the SIOP process through data analysis and performance reporting;
• Monitor workshop capacity, workload and resource utilization;
• Analyze production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions;
• Track backlog trends and support recovery plans;
• Monitor scrap, rework and quality-related performance indicators;
• Analyze quarantine inventory and support disposition activities;
• Coordinate and monitor offload activities with external suppliers;
• Review inventory levels to support production continuity;
• Develop key performance indicators and dashboards for Operations management;
• Perform demand-versus-capacity analyses and identify key constraints;
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering teams;
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis;
• Prepare reports and presentations for management reviews.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field;
• Experience in SIOP, production planning, manufacturing or supply chain;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
• Knowledge of ERP or MRP systems;
• Experience with Power BI or a similar reporting tool considered an asset;
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes considered an asset;
• Fluency in English and French;
• Knowledge of Italian considered an asset.
