Are you a strategic procurement professional looking to contribute to large-scale projects in the aerospace sector? Our client, GE Aerospace, located in Bromont, specializes in the manufacture of aircraft engine parts dedicated to the commercial and military domains. The plant is a global leader in the aerospace industry in terms of automation and robotics, and offers a dynamic work environment by combining cutting-edge technology with participative management and a value-added production approach.

Our expertise is diverse, and you?

As a Senior Buyer - Investments and MRO, you will be responsible for defining and implementing procurement strategies for the Capex (investments) and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) categories. You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure the best solutions in terms of cost, quality, timeliness, and reliability.

• Develop and deploy procurement strategies for the Capex and MRO categories;
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate strategic agreements;
• Issue and track purchase orders;
• Collaborate with internal clients to effectively meet their needs;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement practices and the optimization of supplier performance.

Our must-haves

• Significant experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment;
• Experience in Capex and/or MRO-related purchases;
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and collaboration skills;
• Influential leadership, autonomy, and results-oriented mindset;
• A technical profile acquired through education or experience is an asset;
• Advanced English proficiency, both oral and written, is required due to regular interactions with GE Aerospace's global teams.
• 40 hours per week / Hybrid mode (50/50)
