The Position

Reporting to the sous-chefs, you will contribute to the excellence of our sweet offerings by creating preparations that combine creativity, technical mastery, and precision, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the setup and serving of desserts;
• Preparing and cooking, using appropriate methods, cakes, pastries, and other desserts intended for consumption;
• Creating original and refined dishes that highlight flavors, textures, and colors;
• Maintaining production, presentation, and service standards as established;
• Participating in inventory management for your section;
• Controlling operational costs by ensuring proper management of perishable inventories;
• Maintaining the highest standards in hygiene, cleanliness, and health and safety;
• Understanding and applying the policies and regulations in effect at the establishment and having a good knowledge of all products and services offered;
• Performing any other duties aimed at ensuring smooth operations and high-quality customer service.

Essential Requirements

• Professional studies diploma (D.E.P.) in pastry from a recognized institution. A college-level course in food service management is an asset;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in establishments of significant size.
