The Role
We are looking for a brilliant person who loves data and analytics, who masters Excel perfectly, who knows how to use SQL and who understands megadata architecture and pixels. This person will play a crucial role in supporting the Data Infrastructure and Analytics team in producing reports, establishing strategies, monitoring processes, and creating database solutions for our clients. Among the responsibilities of the position:
Responsibilities
- Understand high-level operational needs, break them down into functional needs, and determine data needs.
- Establish key performance indicators and performance metrics for digital campaigns and design solutions, taking into account the client's needs for tracking deliverables.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into report production solutions.
- Analyze user data needs and determine if they can be addressed by recurring automated processes.
- Evaluate new technologies to advance the technology and data architecture based on the organization's business intelligence needs.
- Review system capabilities, production flow, and schedule constraints to assess if solutions are feasible.
- Extract, filter, and group data using logical queries and basic programming.
- Develop and create formats such as tables, grids, charts, density maps, and organizational charts.
- Frequently check data quality to ensure its quality.
- Conduct frequent audits of the implementation of digital insights and make recommendations for improving data structure and report production.
- Work on building and populating client dashboards using the internal data infrastructure.
- Collaborate to analyze and develop multi-platform media results visualization tools, including digital media elements.
- Use web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics to provide insights into the performance of digital campaigns.
- Assist in preparing documents and reports for meetings and ongoing communication with clients.
- Contribute to media operations management, ensuring that tag labels (GTM, DTM, etc.), pixel editor, and website tracking settings are correctly implemented and updated as required.
- Other tasks may be assigned to meet the needs of the client, team, and company.
Qualifications
- A passion for megadata technologies and a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent programming skills, recognized technical leadership, and proven communication skills.
- Experience with *Tag Manager* solutions (Adobe Launch, DTM, Google Tag Manager) and ad serving tools.
- Knowledge of the Google Cloud platform is desirable (Cloud Storage, Google BigQuery).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Google Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Proactive enthusiasm to present new ideas.
- Creativity, responsiveness, and adaptability in a dynamic environment, and a desire to learn new skills and abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel (including pivot tables) and Google Slide / PowerPoint.
- Experience in design, coding, and maintaining SQL databases.
- Experience in website design, conversion, and visibility tracking is an asset (GA, Adobe Analytics).
- Knowledge of front-end and back-end web development would be an asset.
- Practical knowledge of JavaScript/HTML would be an asset.
- University studies in a relevant field.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English).
