Validation Specialist *Temporary Position - 18 Months*

To support this growth, our team is looking for a Validation Specialist.

Under the responsibility of the Validation Manager, the Validation Specialist is responsible for maintaining and executing validation protocols as specified in Sterinova's Master Validation Plan, in compliance with the company's established standards and current BPF regulations. Each validation you perform contributes to ensuring the quality of our products and supporting our mission: United to Save Lives.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Write various protocols and documents used in the validation process: qualification protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), validation reports, traceability matrices, validation certificates, deficiencies, risk analyses, CAPAs, change controls, and any other documents related to validation;
  • Execute qualification/validation protocols according to established procedures;
  • Support the resolution of validation-related deficiencies;
  • Perform additional tests related to deficiency closure and CAPA;
  • Review protocols prepared or executed by third parties, such as consultants, suppliers, or interns;
  • Ensure that protocols and reports comply with the company's established standards and BPF regulations;
  • Support in analyzing the need for revalidation;
  • Participate in new projects with the collaboration of the Engineering and MS&T teams, and other departments.

To succeed in this role, you have

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science;
  • Knowledge of BPFs and the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Bilingual (FR/EN). English is necessary for preparing and reviewing documents intended for outside Canada;
  • Demonstrate rigor in performing your duties and show flexibility to quickly adapt to operational needs;
  • Be able to work autonomously and in a team, and be resourceful.
