Hourly wage: $24 to $31

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial equipment from manufacturing drawings.
• Read, understand, and interpret mechanical welding drawings and assembly plans.
• Perform mounting, adjusting, and pointing of components before welding.
• Check dimensions, alignments, and tolerances to ensure assembly compliance.
• Collaborate with welders, machinists, quality inspectors, and the foreman to solve technical challenges.
• Use the necessary measuring and tracing tools for precise assembly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of work methods.

Desired profile

• Experience in assembling mechanical welded structures or industrial equipment.
• Excellent reading of plans.
• Good understanding of assembly sequences.
• Concern for detail and quality.
• Autonomy, resourcefulness, and team spirit.
• Experience in the paper and pulp, mining, steel, or heavy manufacturing sectors (asset).
