Mechanic Assistant

We are looking for a mechanic assistant to support our maintenance department and collaborate with our team of mechanics in an industrial environment.

The selected person will participate in various maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks to contribute to the proper functioning and reliability of production equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance team in its daily activities;
• Assist mechanics during tasks requiring the presence of two people;
• Participate in minor mechanical repairs on equipment and production lines;
• Perform regular equipment inspections;
• Participate in preventive maintenance work according to established schedules;
• Fill out and keep inspection and maintenance records up to date;
• Follow work procedures specific to each equipment;
• Assist in the disassembly, cleaning, adjustment, and replacement of mechanical components;
• Quickly report any anomalies or issues observed on the equipment;
• Maintain work areas clean, safe, and well-organized;
• Always respect health and safety procedures.

Desired Profile

• Strong interest in industrial mechanics and maintenance.
• Experience in an industrial, maintenance, or mechanical environment considered an asset.
• Good ability to use manual and electrical tools.
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
• Sense of observation and concern for well-done work.
• Autonomy, reliability, and resourcefulness.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good physical endurance.

Work Schedule

• Full-time permanent position.
• Evening shift: Monday to Thursday, from 2 PM to midnight.
• Evening shift premium.
• Possibility of overtime hours according to operational needs.
