Mission
The accredited property evaluator ensures the balancing and up-to-date maintenance of property evaluation roles for residential, commercial, and industrial properties across the 19 municipalities within the MRC du Granit territory.
As a subject matter expert in property evaluation, he or she provides expertise to colleagues, municipalities, and citizens.
Main Tasks
Property Evaluation Roles Management
- Support the preparation and updating of property evaluation roles and graphical matrices;
- Make necessary modifications to property evaluation roles (building permits, subdivisions, renovations, etc.);
- Act as a role signer.
- Support to Municipalities and Customer Service
- Inform and advise municipalities, elected officials, and taxpayers on property evaluation roles;
- Receive, analyze, and process revision requests.
- Regulatory Compliance and Practice Optimization
- Support the evaluation coordinator in the effective management of property inspections;
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of evaluation service practices.

- Demonstrate mobilizing leadership;
- Excellent relational skills and ability to communicate;
- Rigor in planning, priority management, and work organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in administration with a focus on real estate or equivalent;
- Membership in the Order of Accredited Evaluators of Quebec (OEAQ);
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or any other combination of education and/or experience deemed equivalent;
- Experience in a municipal environment (an asset);
- Proficiency in French both orally and in writing;
- Good knowledge of *Microsoft 365* tools.
