Exclusive subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, CDPQ Infra acts as a client and prime contractor for major public infrastructure projects. We are responsible for all phases of the projects: design, planning, financing, project development, procurement strategy, implementation, and operation.

CDPQ Infra is particularly responsible for the deployment of the Metropolitan Express Network (REM) in Greater Montreal and the implementation of the TramCité project in Quebec City. CDPQ Infra is also a member of the Cadence group, which won the federal government's tender for the high-speed train project Alto in the Quebec-Toronto corridor.

Main Responsibilities

Technical Analysis and Compliance

• Support the environment team in the analysis of technical, regulatory, and contractual documents;
• Contribute to the tracking of commitments, permissions, and environmental obligations applicable;

Tracking and Information Organization

• Participate in updating the tracking tables of conditions, commitments, and deadlines for CDPQ Infra's various projects;
• Structure and organize environmental information to facilitate access, sharing, and consultation;
• Keep environmental information up to date to ensure good traceability of the tracking done;
• Contribute to the organization of documentation in SharePoint or other tools used by the team;

Preparation of Work Materials and Tools

• Support the team in preparing presentations related to environmental activities;
• Prepare or update tracking sheets, checklists, or other work tools;
• Contribute, if needed, to updating awareness, communication, or mobilization materials in the environment;

Participation in Meetings and Collaboration

• Participate in certain internal meetings, workshops, or follow-ups, as needed by the team;
• Gather relevant information during exchanges and document the required actions.

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environment, or a related discipline, with at least two years completed;
• Strong interest in environmental issues related to major infrastructure projects;
• Good organizational, analytical, and synthesis skills;
• Rigor, attention to detail, autonomy, and curiosity;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Power BI, or Copilot is an asset;
• Knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements or ISO 14001 standard is also an asset;
• Interest in environmental audits, field visits, and tracking of applicable requirements for various infrastructure projects.
