CGI is seeking a Technical Lead with Guidewire experience to join a project team for one of our clients in the insurance sector.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of Guidewire software solutions, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of applications to ensure their alignment with IT strategies and company standards;
  • Define and apply best practices in development and architecture;
  • Lead development team members on technical and methodological aspects;
  • Collaborate with product, business, and infrastructure teams to complete the project;
  • Optimize system performance and reliability through continuous process and application improvement;
  • Play a strategic role in ensuring alignment of the solution with business needs and technological standards.

Qualifications Required for Success in this Role

  • Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including 6 years in a similar role;
  • Strong proficiency in Guidewire Cloud products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimsCenter, and/or BillingCenter;
  • Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, and AWS languages;
  • Asset:
  • Possession of GW ACE (Mammoth) certification;
  • Excellent understanding of software architectures and API integrations.

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Reward decisions are based on individual circumstances. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $70,000 and $135,000. This position is open.
