*Saputo Dairy Products Canada is seeking a Counter Clerk - Dairy Bar for an existing opportunity within our organization.*

The successful candidate will be responsible for customer service and sales at the store level.

Hours:

The fall/winter work schedule is Sunday to Wednesday from 9 am to 6 pm. For the summer period, the work schedule would be either Wednesday to Saturday from 12 pm to 9 pm or from 2 pm to 10 pm. Hours may vary.

Salary: $22.50/hour

Contributing to this role includes

  • Preparing cheeses for sale (cutting, weighing, packaging, etc.);
  • Advising customers on cheeses;
  • Offering daily products and promotions;
  • Setting up all products (facing);
  • Preparing and serving ice cream products;
  • Performing required checks on equipment and refrigerators;
  • Cleaning equipment, counters, and windows;
  • Managing store opening and closing;
  • Weekly product inventory;
  • Preparing cheese platters (gift boxes);
  • Performing end-of-day balancing and deposits.

Qualifications sought are

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Experience in customer service (asset);
  • Strong customer service and sales skills;
  • Knowledge of cheeses (asset);
  • Good organizational skills, autonomy, initiative, resourcefulness, and sense of priorities;
  • Bilingualism (asset)
