The coordinator will support the team lead in their work and act as a leader of the team during their shift. To do this, the assistant team lead must be able to understand, execute, and train the technicians on duty.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of evening shift operations, prioritize carts, sort orders, and handle problematic cabinets, etc.;
- Assist the team lead in managing order flow (printing, ordering, emails);
- Assist the team lead in the following tasks: replenishment orders, lens receipts, put-away, FIFO cage management, order tracking with suppliers, and inventory checks (cycle counts);
- Participate in the annual inventory in December;
- Assist the team lead with problematic items in the combo;
- Prioritize urgent and priority orders according to established order;
- Solve operational issues by contacting different actors when necessary (IT, other departments, etc.);
- Report any behavior issues, operational problems, or situations that could affect productivity and the smooth functioning of the evening shift to the team lead;
- Follow health and safety measures in place;
- Perform necessary activities while respecting policies, work procedures, training, standards, and established norms;
- Execute various tasks requested by your team lead or director;
- Assist your supervisor and colleagues in completing all their activities when required;
- Perform any other related tasks and in other departments as needed.
Skills
- You will have experience in inventory management (stocks) either in a warehouse or store. Equivalent experience could be considered under certain conditions.
- Understand the importance of inventory levels to avoid stockouts and excess stock.
- Be able to make basic stock forecasts using Excel files and the LMS (laboratory management system). Be comfortable with different stock replenishment calculation formulas.
- Must manage stock rotation, inventory levels, stock receipts, and placement in different locations while respecting their usage order. Work in a 'first in, first out' manner.
- Act as a Groupe Vision Newlook Ambassador in your attitude and actions.
- Analytical and reasoning skills.

- Ability to communicate, leadership capacity, autonomy, and initiative.
- Sense of priorities and organization.
- Availability and flexibility.
- Very comfortable with computers (Microsoft suite, among others).
- Excel mastery is necessary as it will be a daily work tool.
Qualifications
- + High school diploma (general studies);
- + Experience in a distribution center is an asset;
+ Good knowledge of written and spoken French, functional English.
