Description

Champlain Group Inc. is a grouping of 13 private, contracted Long-Term Care Centers (LTCs) located in several regions of Quebec, whose mission is to offer quality, deeply human, continuous care and services in a secure living environment to people with complex needs throughout their life journey in housing.

Our team and our residents are currently looking for an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Full-time - Day embodying the values of Kindness, Excellence, and Responsibility.

Do you enjoy teamwork and have excellent analytical skills?

Do you want to play a major role in the autonomy of our residents?

If so, do not hesitate to join us, we share the same philosophy!

Contribute to the maintenance of our residents' autonomy by

  • Assessing their level of autonomy in performing their activities;
  • Determining and implementing a treatment and intervention plan;
  • Contributing to the development, restoration, maintenance of abilities, and compensating for disabilities;
  • Reducing situations of disability and adapting the environment to promote optimal autonomy.
  • Join us and benefit from the following advantages and privileges:
  • Being part of a Group accredited with "mention" by Accreditation Canada and therefore recognized for its quality of services beyond the requirements.
  • Joining a warm and family-like establishment, fostering mutual aid and teamwork.
  • Our close management allows our employees to be creative and participate in the life of the center.
  • Continuous training throughout your career with us.
  • You will benefit from the same working conditions and social benefits as in the public health network (advantageous retirement and collective insurance regime, 4 weeks of annual vacation, 13 holidays per year...)

Skills and requirements sought

We are primarily looking for a person who loves to work in a team and is concerned about the autonomy and well-being of our residents:

  • Hold a master's degree in occupational therapy;
  • Be a member of the Quebec Order of Occupational Therapists.

We thank all those who apply; only the selected candidates will be contacted.

We subscribe to the principle of equal access. Applications from visible minorities, ethnic minorities, Indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, and women are encouraged. Adaptation measures can be offered to people with disabilities based on their needs.
