EXP is looking for a Contract Administrator Engineer – Construction Manager to participate in the Blue Line extension project.
The selected person will be a permanent employee of EXP, assigned full-time to the Blue Line project and will work directly in the STM offices, collaborating with project teams, contractors, professionals, and other stakeholders on the site.
In this role, you will be a key player in coordinating work, contract management, document management, and communication between different stakeholders to ensure smooth progress of the work in your sector.
Your Role
As a Contract Administrator Engineer – Construction Manager, you will be responsible for daily monitoring of activities in your construction sector and actively contribute to coordinating work and achieving project objectives.
Work Coordination and Monitoring
- Ensure daily monitoring of activities in your construction sector.
- Collaborate closely with superintendents, supervisors, and engineers to coordinate work.
- Ensure compliance with schedules and report any issues that may affect project progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and ensure required follow-ups.
- Coordinate interfaces between different contracts and project sectors.
Contract Administration
- Participate in the follow-up of contractual and extra-contractual changes (DI, DIM, DC, and CC).
- Collaborate on the preparation of site instructions.
- Contribute to the analysis and follow-up of requests from contractors.
- Participate in the negotiation and processing of changes when required.
- Ensure follow-up of contractual deliverables and required documentation.
Technical and Document Follow-up
- Collaborate on the follow-up of non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Participate in the validation of technical documents and required updates.
- Produce meeting minutes from coordination meetings.
- Ensure follow-up of site visits, inspections, and reports.
- Maintain up-to-date project follow-up registers.
- Participate in the management and improvement of documentary processes.
Site Coordination
- Plan coordination meetings with engineering and construction teams.
- Coordinate site visits, inspections, and stop points.
- Ensure follow-up of access permits and necessary authorizations for work.
- Collaborate on the follow-up of laboratory requests and required tests.
- Participate in the coordination of internal and external work related to the project.
Desired Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contract administration, site coordination, or work management.
- Experience in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and priority management skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset, autonomy, and professional rigor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on major infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of construction contractual practices.
- Experience with a public sector client.
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination.
- Knowledge of site document management processes.
